Olifant Riddim produced by Mystical Light Records 2023
Olifant Overview
The Olifant Riddim was born in the studio with a focus on classic reggae sounds. The team built the foundation rhythm using live instruments and vintage gear. Their goal was to create a warm, rootsy feel that would inspire both artists and listeners. The creative direction came from the main sound architect at Mystical Light Records. This independent label is known for supporting new talent and producing reggae with an authentic touch. Mystical Light Records has been active in the European reggae scene, and their projects often reach reggae fans worldwide through streaming platforms. Several artists brought their own style to the Olifant Riddim. Publik Report delivered “No Turning Back,” a song that stands out for its positive energy and clear vocals. Rocky G.Vox and Chala Dz Cham teamed up on “L’Inferno Di Dante,” blending their voices for a powerful performance. Sista Clau’s track, “The Garden Of Life,” adds a soulful message. Marcello Coleman & Francisca joined forces on “How Do You Feel.” Marcello Coleman is known for his work with the legendary band Almamegretta, which helped popularize reggae and dub in Italy. Galas contributed the song “President,” bringing another layer of energy to the collection. This album collection gave young and established singers a cultural platform in 2023. The Olifant Riddim kept reggae’s roots alive, connecting different voices on a strong musical foundation.
