The 2005 Nucleus Riddim sits right in that mid-2000s dancehall pocket where the groove does the heavy lifting and the voices have to cut through fast. On paper it’s a various-artists set, but the best cuts give it a little personality: Ac Crew’s “Ask The Dj” and Major Ranks’ “Dem Gul Hot” ride the pattern with that sharp, party-minded energy, while Dianne and Sharla’s “Bad Girls” leans into the cheekier side of the riddim. Shy’s “Shout It Out” keeps the momentum up, and Soulful Harmony’s “Ready For The Ride” closes things with a smoother touch.
