Nite Wave Riddim lands as a lean 2011 dancehall set from S. F. M Records, and it leans hard into the sharper, late-night side of the sound rather than anything glossy or crossover. The cut list is compact enough that the personality of the riddim matters more than the roll call: Al Star’s “This Year” and Bubbles’ “Run The Streets” ride the groove with direct, streetwise energy, while Deejay Brilliant gets the most room to work with “Badmind So” and the two versions of “How She Move, ” which give the project a little extra bite. Savage’s “Nuh Talking Thing” keeps the pressure on, and the label even leaves the instrumental in place, so you hear the riddim’s dark, skanking framework without anyone on top of it.

    Nite Wave Tracklist:

    1. Al Star – This Year
    2. Bubbles – Run The Streets
    3. Deejay Brilliant – Badmind So
    4. Deejay Brilliant – How She Move (Edit)
    5. Deejay Brilliant – How She Move (Raw)
    6. F.M Records – Nite Wave Riddim
    7. Savage – Nuh Talking Thing
