Akeil Benn’s “It’s Joy” sets the tone here, and it’s one of the cleaner entry points into Benn Beats’ Niagara Falls Riddim, a 2021 soca set that keeps the energy bright without rushing the pulse. The producer folds in three versions of the title cut — American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls — so the riddim gets room to stretch before and after the vocal songs, which gives the package a neat, almost chaptered feel. Camille Benn’s “One More Chance” and Jah Real’s “Dem Nah Know My God” land alongside Me Lion’s “Yahweh, ” with the spiritual angle running through much of the lineup.
