From collaborating with Tyga in Blessed to the man himself Sean Paul in Light My Fire, Shenseea’s list of collaborations is growing. Born Chinsea Linda Lee in Mandeville Jamaica, Shenseea has grown into a global star and her contribution to music has been immense. The list of A-list artists she has worked with is a testament to that, appearing on numerous charts including the UK Singles Chart, Billboard US Afrobeats Songs Charts, and Billboard Hot 100.
Her Latest collaboration set for release on 28 July 2023 is titled My Bad and it features The Chainsmokers. Known for their hit songs which include Closer with Halsey, Don’t Let Me Down with Daya, and Something Just Like That alongside Coldplay, The Chainsmokers made the announcement on their Instagram Account with a track teaser. The teaser had the caption “Can y’all guess the feature’ and we all expect it to be a banger.
Shenseea is rapidly becoming one of Jamaica’s top music exports and she has collaborated with a host of artists including the aforementioned Christina Aguilera, Kanye West, Calvin Harris, Gwen Stefani, Vybz Kartel, Chris Brown, Fireboy, Skillibeng, Charlie Puth, Beenie Man, Tarrus Riley, Megan The Stallion and many more. Dabbling in many genres Shenseea can comfortably admit being a global star and her trajectory may possibly surpass the likes of Rihanna and Beyonce. And yes I said it! And not for the first time.
Everything she touches seems to turn to gold and her moving to the United States has opened a lot of doors. With a follow-up album to Alpha set for September 2023, Shenseea has promised a different sound to accommodate non patios speaking fans in order to make her music universal.
