For[/embed] those not well acquainted with Shatta Wale, he was born in Accra Ghana. Born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, Shatta Wale, is a Ghanaian music producer and dancehall artist who has also delved into acting and has some notable acting credits. Formerly known as Bandana, Wale has shined in Ghana where the dancehall genre is still growing winning Artist of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2014.

In true dancehall fashion, Shatta Wale posted on his instagram a video flaunting and showing off his cars. A Range Rover, and a couple of luxury Mercedes just to name a few. From his successes in acting, owning his own record label (SM For Lyf Records) and music, Wale has obviously amassed some riches and has found the right time to show off following the track’s release.

The collaboration which features Major Lazer, has the signature Major Lazer dancehall sound with a catchy bass line. Beyonce’s strong vocals carry the song and the fusion with Shatta Wale bring an African flavour to the mix. It’s a definite weekend banger that should do well all over the world. If accompanied by a good music video, the song will be remembered well into 2020.

Trademark Major Lazer do it again with another gem. You have to give them credit as they seem to know how to bring out the dance in dancehall, and they have also had  success with other artists like, DJ Snake, Sean Paul, Justin Bieber, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Nicki Minaj just to name a few.
