Nigeria’s Davido is back with a bang and we are seeing the produce from his latest album Timeless. Released at the beginning of July 2023, Davido released the visuals for Unavailable. Fresh from the album Unavailable was directed by Dammy Twitch and is the first of a series of videos lined up. In a hotly contested genre with the likes of Burna Boy and Wizkid, Davido is refusing to shy away from the competition and will feel he is in the same league as his countrymen.
Timeless has attained its own milestones to boast of including attaining number 1 on Apple Music UK Album Chart and number 1 Apple Music US Album Chart which was the highest charting for a Nigerian artist in history.
Davido describes TIMELESS saying: “Timeless is a body of work that goes beyond fashion and trends it’s an authentic body of work that remains true to my core as an artist- using my music to bring joy to my fans across the world. The songs you hear today will be just as relevant tomorrow, that’s why it’s TIMELESS.”
Timeless is Davido’s fourth studio album backed by numerous other singles. As one of the pioneers of Afrobeats the Nigerian is one of the stalwarts of the industry. He has also been able to collaborate with major players in the world including the likes of Popcaan, Meek Mill, and Trey Songz. The album features other names like Asake, Dexta Daps and Skepta and will surely be timeless as he says.
