Every fortnight it’s been the general trend to write a short summary of the music coming from the 6IX camp. However, I don’t think its fair on Chronic Law as I now feel he deserves his own special segment.  Taking nothing away from Squash or Daddy 1 but you have to give it to The Law Boss who is way more prolific in releasing new music and videos.
Approaching the halfway point in the year Chronic Law averages a track a week and is not letting up. His latest track features up and comer Ty British in 26IXX Mindset. The track has 54k views in 4 days on Youtube’s streaming platform but don’t let the slow uptake fool you. The track is well crafted and on the second to third listen you will appreciate it more. I’m sure it would draw a bigger audience had it featured another A-lister but kudos to Ty British. Who is not affiliated to American rapper Ty Dollar Sign.
The track follows Day Dream released a week ago featuring JayCrazie and a more gritty track in Got Money. Before that Chronic Law made the airwaves with Jah Jah and No Love keeping up his average when releasing tracks.
There is no doubting his talent and I am sure one day we will be lauding him with praise as the King Of Dancehall. The only other artist who may be able to keep up with him is Vybz Kartel. However, we know he has nothing else to do in prison than making music. It may probably serve Chronic Law well if he was to distance himself a bit from the 6IX and make his own name but that is another conversation.
Chronic Law has become a dancehall household name where you don’t even have to listen to his new songs before downloading. Keep looking out for him and keep tracking his progress.
