Set in the 2012 dancehall lanes, Neglience Riddim from Ahtik Studios Productions keeps the tracklist lean and the focus tight, with four cuts and five voices moving over the same framework. Choper’s “Notting” opens things with a clipped, no-nonsense edge, while Lyrikal’s “Hold Yuh” gives the riddim a more melodic pull without softening the roughness underneath. Skarz Fadda Roots and Yankey Boy team up on “Cant Come Over, ” adding a sharper clash of voices, and Noey’s “Mr Thrilla” closes it out with the most immediate performance here, the kind of tune that leaves the rhythm ringing after the last bar.
