Needlepoint Riddim – Nanaclarke Muzik

By the time Needlepoint Riddim lands, Nanaclarke Muzik have already locked in a lean five-track dancehall set, cut in late 2019 and kept tight at just over 11 minutes. Amul, Ironickal, Rippa Rock, Straight and Stud Wonder all ride the same pattern, but the better moments come from the phrasing more than any big arrangement trick: Ironickal’s “Party Hard” keeps the energy brisk, while Rippa Rock’s “Marijuana” leans into the steadier, more rooted end of the groove. The production feels clipped and practical, with a narrow drum pocket and a bass line that stays low and insistent instead of chasing flash. It’s the sort of riddim that leaves plenty of space for the vocals to carry the tune, and the whole thing moves at a clean mid-tempo bounce.
