NATURE RIDDIM produced by ARROWS RECORDS 1997
Nature Overview
In 1997, the Nature Riddim became a favorite in Jamaica’s dancehall parties and sound system events. The driving beat and catchy rhythm made it easy for selectors to mix and play all night. Sound systems loved this riddim because it kept crowds moving and created a lively atmosphere, connecting people through music and energy. The riddim was produced by ARROWS RECORDS, a well-known label in the Jamaican music scene. ARROWS RECORDS started in the 1970s and became famous for working with top dancehall and reggae artists. Their productions are known for crisp sound and strong rhythms, and the Nature Riddim is a good example of their quality work. Several artists added their voices to the Nature Riddim, each bringing their own style. Bigga Boss delivered "Hand Inna The Air," a tune that encouraged partygoers to get involved and enjoy the moment. Black Rat appeared twice, with "Give Me A Chance" and "She Kind Eeh," showing his unique flow and energy. Delly Ranks, known for his hit "Pon Di Corner" with Voice Mail, gave fans "Tell Some Gal She." Devonte, who gained attention with his work in the duo Tanto Metro & Devonte, added "Mi Love Gal" to the mix. Falcon contributed "All That She Wants," rounding out the selection. Each song helped make the Nature Riddim a classic part of 1997’s dancehall club culture.
