Back in 2011, when dancehall was full of lean digital rhythms and quick-cut one-riddim packages, Nae Nae Riddim arrived as a compact five-cut set with Jahvante’s “She Is In Love, ” Magano’s “Pray, ” and the Patexx and Tahz combinations carrying most of the vocal weight. The production keeps the energy clipped and street-ready, with enough space for the singers to ride the groove without crowding the beat, and Chi Ching Ching’s presence on “Sell Me Out” gives the set a sharper, more playful edge. The tracklist runs through four vocal cuts and closes with the plain “Version - Nae Nae Riddim, ” the version itself left as the final listen.
