Skarra Mucci’s “Greater Than Great” is the immediate pull here, cutting through Dreadsquad’s sharp digital pattern with the kind of cocky, forward-driving deejay energy that keeps the MT-41 project moving. From there the set opens out nicely: El Fata’s “Sweet and Nice” and Dr. Ring Ding’s “Don’t Waste My Time” sit right in that sweet spot where Dreadsquad’s love of heavy bass and old-school computer dancehall meets a more modern, European-rooted sound. The twist is the source material itself, since the whole riddim was built from the Casio MT-41 keyboard, a neat nod to the machine that helped define early computerized dancehall in the first place. A short six-song run, then the version at the end.
