A lean, bass-heavy dancehall cut with a bright, propulsive edge, Energy Riddim catches that early-2010s period when producers were chasing raw club pressure without overcomplicating the mix. Clearance Productions keeps the focus on impact, and Natty Bredda’s Trust In Jah sits neatly against the harder talk of Ktoche’s Mad Thing and Redman’s Ya No Me Hablen De Fire, giving the set a nice push-pull between faith, attitude, and street-level swagger. The standout moment for me is Hoc’s Wine And Go Down, especially with Mistico and Sha-K in the cut, because it drops a little extra flair into the whole thing. Ten tracks deep, it moves fast and leaves just enough room for Roman G and the rest to stamp their own accents on the riddim.
