K20 Records’ Morals Riddim sits right in that 2017 dancehall moment when sharp, digital juggling still had room for conscious edge, and the title track sets the tone with Bugle’s stern delivery leading the way. Kabaka Pyramid’s “Nuh Hype” feels like the natural counterweight, his militant, message-driven style sitting neatly against the instrumental’s lean, clipped bounce, while Samboni’s “Boss Ting” and Sattin’s “Want All Lose All” keep the energy moving through the set. The riddim doesn’t overcomplicate itself; it leaves space for the voices to cut through, which is exactly why it lands. Simple enough to roll in a dance, but the warning in the title hangs over it all, even on the instrumental.
