Montegod Riddim – Duppy Gun Productions

Montegod Riddim is a 2020 dancehall release from Duppy Gun Productions, driven by Smurphy’s production and voiced by a tight four-track lineup that includes Any Voice on Do Me So, I Jahbar and RDL Shellah on Bumper, Prapastar on Gold Mine, and Smurphy herself on Montegod Riddim. The project landed in late November 2020 and also came with a mix version, which helps frame it as a compact riddim set rather than a loose compilation. What gives it its identity is the mix of fresh Duppy Gun talent and familiar names like I Jahbar, all riding the same bubbling, bass-heavy pattern with a raw dancehall edge.
