MODERN WARFARE RIDDIM produced by SUHFAR RECORDS 2018
Modern Warfare Overview
In 2018, the dancehall scene welcomed a powerful new riddim crafted by SUHFAR RECORDS. Known for their bold approach and consistent production quality, SUHFAR RECORDS had already made a mark with several underground hits before this project. For the Modern Warfare Riddim, they brought in a skilled bashment arranger to shape the sound, blending sharp drum patterns and energetic synths that set the stage for dancefloor action. From the start, the riddim was designed as a party backdrop, built to energize yard sessions. When it dropped, selectors quickly added it to their playlists, and soon its beats echoed across parties in Kingston and beyond. The artists on this riddim each brought their own fire. Blackwall Street delivered “Nuh Fraid A People,” a track that caught attention for its bold lyrics and commanding presence. Dark Glaze’s “Don't Need To Buss No Rifle” stood out with its clever wordplay. Faby Galaxy, who has gained recognition for her unique voice, added “Lose Count,” giving the riddim a melodic edge. I, Talix The Reminder contributed “Big Stone,” while Jastikk and Al teamed up for “Release The Dragon,” adding a dynamic duo performance. Modern Warfare Riddim became a favorite for clash and party sessions, with each artist and the producer helping to define a moment in 2018 dancehall culture.
