MIGHTY DIAMOND LEAGUE RIDDIM produced by UPT 007 RECORDS 2016
Mighty Diamond League Overview
The party feeling of 2016’s dancehall scene was recreated inside the studio for the Mighty Diamond League Riddim. The sound engineer worked with heavy bass and sharp snares, layering each instrument to make sure the riddim captured the energy of real dancehall parties. This creative direction helped each track stand out while keeping the whole release lively and unified. At the center was UPT 007 RECORDS, a label known for bringing fresh dancehall sounds to listeners. UPT 007 RECORDS has built a reputation for supporting both new and established artists, and its projects have gained streams and attention in the Caribbean and beyond. Devin Di Dakta brought his unique voice to “Mek It Cool.” He is known for winning the 2016 Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall competition, and his style shines on this track. Future Fambo delivered “Rick Flair,” adding his energetic performance. Future Fambo is also famous for his hit song “Rum & Red Bull” with Beenie Man. Gyptian’s “Staxxx” added a smooth yet powerful vibe. Gyptian is recognized worldwide for his single “Hold Yuh,” which charted internationally. Hard Fi Deal Wid contributed “Snap,” and Qq also performed on “Snap,” each bringing their own twist to the riddim. Qq is known for his early hit “Stookie,” which made waves in Jamaican dancehall. Together, these artists helped the riddim capture the spirit of 2016 dancehall parties.
