MAS FUEGO RIDDIM produced by CRAIG ‘LEFTSIDE’ PARKS – 2011
Mas Fuego Overview
In 2011, the Mas Fuego Riddim brought a new wave of energy to dancehall and soca music. The journey began in the studio of Craig 'Leftside' Parks, a Jamaican producer known for his creative beats and catchy hooks. Leftside, who has worked with some of the biggest names in dancehall, is also the founder of his own label, KeepLeft Records. His production style often blends dancehall with other genres, which helped Mas Fuego Riddim stand out. Leftside gathered a group of talented artists to bring the riddim to life. Bugle, known for his thoughtful lyrics and hits like "Journey," delivered two tracks: "How U Feel" and "Standing Tall." Both songs show Bugle’s skill in blending serious messages with danceable rhythms. Fambo added his voice to the project with "O.M.G," bringing fun and energy. Leftside himself performed on two tracks, "Friend Enemy" and "This Girl," showing his versatility as both producer and artist. Monster Twins contributed "Rotate," while Syon gave the riddim a smooth touch with "Pretty Girl." T.O.K, a group famous for their hit "Footprints," brought their signature harmonies to "Mas Fuego." Wayne Marshall, who has appeared on international charts, added flavor with "Salsa Wine." The riddim also features a standout collaboration: "Party Campaign" by Sean Paul featuring Leftside. Sean Paul, known worldwide for hits like "Get Busy," helped push the release further into the spotlight.
