Tazma Records’ 2024 Maroon Mas Riddim brings together three soca cuts, led by Ice D Maniac’s When Last, Major Dickson’s World Leaders, and Ppm’s Dey Never Want. The short three-track set keeps the focus tight and carnival-ready, with each artist getting room to ride the same upbeat groove in a different way. Tazma Records had already been building a name in soca circles, and this release shows that same lean, no-frills approach to riddim production. World Leaders and When Last are the obvious standouts in the lineup, giving the project a lively, street-level feel that fits the Maroon Mas name.
