Marley Riddim – Osujah Music

Al Pancho’s “Dutty Life Style” gives the Marley Riddim its sharpest opening shot, and that’s a good sign of what Osujah Music was aiming for here: rootsy, militant reggae with a modern edge and enough room for each voice to lean into the groove. Anaicon’s “No Time To Waste” pushes the same consciousness-driven lane, while Jah Torch and Lady Donna keep the message spiritual and direct, riding a steady pulse that feels more meditative than flashy. Osujah lets the instrumental breathe, so the singers can cut through without overcrowding the arrangement, and that balance suits Ras Preedem’s “Eliminate Poverty” especially well. It’s a compact 2016 set, with Utan Green’s “Fix It” closing things on a practical, streetwise note.
