Since 2001, FRIENDLY FIRE MUSIC has worked with both local and international artists, building a reputation for quality production and a strong connection to the reggae community. The dub engineer behind the project shaped the riddim with deep basslines and echoing effects, giving each track a unique texture. This attention to detail made the dub stand out, capturing the spirit of classic reggae while sounding new. Friendly Fire Band led the way with "Legalize Dub," a track that showcased their skill in live instrumentation and dub mixing. Their instrumental "Legalize It Riddim - Version" gave the project a solid foundation. Friendly Fire Band & Max Powa joined forces on "Legalize," adding melodic hooks and conscious lyrics. Lion Art’s "Legalize It" brought a powerful message, while Murray Man’s "Nah Get Away" showed his smooth vocal style. Tippa Irie & Peppery teamed up for "Humanity," combining Tippa Irie’s legendary UK dancehall flow—known from his hit "Hello Darling"—with Peppery’s sharp delivery. Yt’s "In The Streets" added another layer, showing the riddim’s versatility. Looking back, the Legalize Riddim’s dub cut captured the heart of reggae in 2013.
