The journey of the truck anthem base for Carnival 2019 began in the studio, where the fete composer worked to capture the energy of the road. The producer, known for shaping soca hits, crafted a riddim with a strong, melodic base that was made for the big trucks and moving crowds. From the start, the goal was clear: create a sound that would drive the party from sunrise to sunset. When it was time to bring the riddim to life, some of soca’s most exciting voices stepped in. Bunji Garlin, known for his powerful stage presence and hits like "Differentology," delivered "We Done Dey," a song that quickly became a favorite on the road. 3 Suns added their own flavor with "Give It Up," keeping the energy high and the crowd moving. Benjai teamed up with Scarface for "Tanty Say," bringing a playful and catchy vibe. Scarface - Tanty Say also offered his own take with the same title, giving fans another reason to dance. Jason Ft Blaze joined the project with "Bom Bom," a track that echoed through the streets during the height of Carnival. Blaze - Bom Bom brought even more excitement with his version, while Pamputie’s "Wining Master" was a call for everyone to join in the celebration. Each artist and song added a unique touch, but together, they formed a soundtrack that powered the trucks and the people through Carnival 2019. The riddim’s journey from studio to street made it a lasting part of soca history.
