For 2005’s Kannibal Riddim, the various-artists billing gives the whole thing a loose, crew-cypher feel: Breaklyn’s title cut, Karry Timer’s “Dubplate Dj Red Eyes, ” and Man X’s “Yo Pa Ka Control” keep the energy clipped and aggressive, while Red Lion and Syn’chabine bring a more melodic, singjay lean to the set.
