JUNKIE BACCHANAL RIDDIM produced by DUTCH PRODUCTIONS
Junkie Bacchanal Overview
Back in 2013, the islands were alive with masquerades and street parties. The sound that carried through the crowds was the fete rhythm, a special soca beat crafted by the skilled hands at DUTCH PRODUCTIONS. This studio, known for pushing Caribbean music forward, had already made a name with their dancehall and soca tracks. Their work often gets streamed by fans around the world, and they have a reputation for blending tradition with fresh energy. The journey of the fete rhythm started in the studio, where soca craftsmen worked hard to capture the feeling of celebration. They wanted a riddim that would keep people moving from the first note to the last. Once the beat was ready, it was time for the artists to bring their own flavor. Ajrenalin jumped in with “Parti Mi Seh,” a song that quickly became a crowd favorite. D’sean Soldya added “Jookay,” bringing his unique voice to the mix. Mongstar and Ricky T teamed up for “Junkie Bacchanal,” a track that followed Ricky T’s earlier success with “Pressure Boom,” a hit known across the Caribbean. Q Pid and Ambi delivered “Chipping,” while Soca Princess joined in with “Soca Man.” These songs, built on the fete rhythm, filled 2013’s soca sets. Each artist added their own touch, making the riddim a real highlight of the season.
