Anthony Cruz’s Never Say Never, Capleton’s Sun And Rain, George Nooks’ Judgement Day and Lutan Fyah’s Mother’s Love give the line-up much of its weight, while Empress Minott, Jah Thunder and Thriller help round out the set. The riddim has that early-2020s modern roots feel: steady, serious and devotional, but still open enough for straight talk, warnings and social commentary.
