A bright, waistline-moving soca cut with a party-first pulse, Jam Down Party Riddim feels like it was made for road season rather than quiet listening. Dj Spider GW Music keeps the energy lean and springy, and Marzville’s “Darling” seems to sit right in that sweet spot where melody and jump-up pressure meet, while Mysta Lyon’s title track pushes the whole thing deeper into fete territory. There’s a nice little call-and-response between producer and vocalist here, with the rhythm section leaving enough space for the hooks to punch through without getting crowded.
