Jah Guide Riddim is a 2023 reggae release from Boogie Down Records, issued as a 10-track project with a clean rootsy sound and a clear sing-jay lineup at its center. Singer J, Vanessa Bling, Olaf Blackwood, Kai Kai, Red Fox, Starface, Whispa Di Minista, DYCR, and Christian all bring different angles to the same rhythm, from the title cut and Jehovah Will to Till That Day, Buss 2 Fire, and Its Gonna Be Alright. The set came out in May 2023 and runs just over half an hour, with an instrumental version rounding things off. Boogie Down Records keeps the focus on conscious uplift and streetwise delivery, and the mix of voices gives the riddim its identity without overloading it.
