Isolate Riddim comes in with a prayerful, roots-forward pulse and a lineup that leans hard into conscious singing. Zed2dizee Music keeps the atmosphere steady rather than flashy, so the voices do most of the work: Rod Taylor’s “Hallelujah” opens with veteran authority, Joseph Cotton’s “Weeping and Wailing” pushes the suffering-and-deliverance theme, and Junior Roy’s “Share This Love” shifts the mood toward something warmer without losing the spiritual edge. Elsewhere, Zion Head, I FI, Ganja Tree and Tony Melody keep the message centre stage, with “Babylon In Rage” and “Call On Jah” giving the riddim its sharper political and devotional turns. The project landed in July 2021 with 13 cuts in all, but Rod Taylor’s opening statement is the one that really sets the tone and lingers after the rest has passed.
