Such A Vibe Records takes a fairly lean approach here, cutting just six tracks on Is This Love Riddim and keeping the focus on a rootsy, singer-friendly instrumental that leaves plenty of room for the vocals to breathe. Greg Even anchors the set with the title cut and the instrumental, while Monique’s “Is This Love” and Junior Flames’ “Help Us Jah” bring the sharpest emotional pull; G Ras, Karrey, and Mc Lilpin keep the message side moving with songs that lean on uplift and affirmation rather than big-session noise. The production sits in that clean reggae pocket, warm and unhurried, with each voice riding the same backdrop at just over 21 minutes in total. Released on December 10, 2021, the EP runs six songs deep and closes with Mc Lilpin’s “Blessings. ”
