Interlude Riddim – Various Artists

Moving through the Interlude Riddim, the ear catches a clean little dancehall set from 2008 with six cuts and a proper closing version tucked at the end. Pamputtae’s “Nut Meg” is the name that jumps out first, but Insane’s “Wuk Out An Done” and Propa Ting’s “Nutten Nuh Wrong” keep the energy twitchy and rude, while G Mafia and Chicken keep the sequence moving without wasting a bar. The producer credit is simply listed as Various Artists, which fits the no-frills feel of the project: no big concept, just a tight run of voiced tunes over one rhythm and then the bare version to seal it off. That last placement matters, because it leaves the riddim exposed after the songs and makes the structure feel deliberate rather than padded.
