Da Lion keeps the framework lean and grounded: warm bass, steady one-drop pulse, clipped guitar skank and enough room in the arrangement for each singer to land cleanly. Thorpido and Salma Queen’s “Be Safe” and Qshan Deya’s “Gratitude” fit the mood well, while Prince Wadada’s “Weed” adds a more familiar herb-rooted angle. It moves at a measured tempo, with the bassline doing the heavy lifting and the vocal phrasing kept calm and direct.
