I Love Riddim comes out of Norman Bryan’s Kickin Productions in 2008, a label name that has been tied to roots reggae and dancehall for years and is often credited under Bryan’s longtime “Bulpus” moniker. This set sits a little differently in that catalogue: the songs come mostly in Spanish, with a few English cuts, and that gives the rhythm a regional sweep that feels pointed rather than accidental.

The groove is warm and steady, with a measured one-drop pulse and enough low-end weight to let the singers work their phrasing. It leaves space for devotional themes, relationship songs, and spiritual uplift, so the riddim never turns busy or overworked. Jah Mason’s Keep Your Joy is the most familiar anchor for reggae listeners, bringing his Bobo Ashanti clarity and uplift to the project, while Bless, El Consejero Gollo, Nahum Montes, and Noro M keep the Spanish-language side strong with straight-ahead messages about faith, timing, and perseverance. Banton’s Yo Quisiera and A Krew’s Aborto push the project toward tougher, more socially charged territory.
