“Hopeless Romantic” leans into a soft, late-night dancehall feel, all smooth guitar lines, warm low end and a mood that’s more flirtatious than rowdy. Tomi Thomas keeps the riddim tight across seven cuts, and the cast gives it a nice spread: boistory’s “Come My Way” and Aleicia’s “Three Thirty” carry the sweeter side, while Ria Sean’s “On My Own” adds a more lonely, confessional edge. Karmah Cruz’s “Foreign Car” and Stylo G’s remix are the ones that push the concept hardest, with Stylo G giving the title cut a sharper, more familiar dancehall bounce.
