Starplayer Music Group keeps this 2011 Heritage Riddim in tight company, with just four cuts and a clear soca lean that still leaves room for some dancehall-style personality. Alozade opens on a thankful note with “Thank You Lord, ” while Dolla Sign’s “Gal A Bawl” and Karl Morrison’s “Ping Me” keep the riddim moving with cheeky, phone-era subject matter that fits the carnival-season mood.
