2020 dancehall riddim Helmet Riddim comes from Mount Zion / Oskid Productions and gathers a wide roster of Zimbabwean voices over the same hard-hitting riddim foundation. From Enzo Ishall’s Ndoga and Bazooker’s Umdhala Wethu to Ricky Fire’s Mangoma Mangoma and Ninja Lipsy’s Slow Down, the project leans into hardcore dancehall energy across a long, track-heavy lineup. With so many different styles threaded through one beat, the release feels built for both sound system play and nonstop rotation. Mount Zion and Oskid Productions also tied it into Jacaranda Media’s worldwide backing, with the album credited as releasing on March 22, 2019 under Mount Zion Music / Oskid Productions.
