House A Stars keeps Heart Beat Riddim in that compact, rootsy pocket where the groove does most of the talking: a four-cut 2011 reggae set with enough space for each voice to breathe, and just enough bounce to keep the pattern moving. Brown Sugar opens with Don’t Care About Your Heart, while the producer’s own version sits in the middle like the anchor of the whole thing. Ice Man’s Scop Scop leans into a sharper dancehall phrasing, but Isiah Mentor’s Took Yu In My Home is the tune that lingers, with the most emotional pull and the clearest sense of the riddim’s warm, rolling pulse. It’s a lean release, but the balance between the singjay cuts and the more reflective pass at the rhythm gives it a tidy shape that feels deliberate rather than bare.
