Headphone Riddim comes in lean and direct, a four-track dancehall set from Swift Beatz that keeps the focus on sharp singles rather than a crowded cast. Ras J opens with “Break Right Now, ” then Proghres leans into the money talk on “Money Pree” and Mazin follows with “Money Tree, ” keeping the theme locked around hustle, paper and street ambition. There’s a nice bit of patterning in the titles too, like Swift Beatz knew exactly the lane he wanted this one to travel. Buck1’s “From Yuh Seh Gyal” closes it out with the kind of cheeky, dancehall-ready edge that gives the riddim its final push, and that’s the cut that lingers after the rest of the set has done its job.
