Haripere comes in with that raw Zimdancehall throb Chillspot was pushing hard in 2018: a rugged, bass-heavy rhythm that leaves plenty of room for singjay patter, sharp hooks, and the kind of hard-edged local slang that made the scene so distinct. The tracklist leans more toward street-level dancehall than anything crossover, and the sheer volume of voices gives it a crowded, energetic feel, with names like Nicky Vybes, Shakie Tea, Platinum Prince, and Mr Fit setting the pace early on. You can hear why the riddim travelled well across the Zimbabwean circuit — it’s built for quick-fire warning shots and chant-along phrases, not polished shine. Kabhidha’s repeated “Ndoenda Mbere” is one of the sharper entries, but Nicky Vybes’ “R. I. P. ” is the cut that hangs around longest.
