Gyal Time Riddim V2. 0 arrived in 2020 as a Prezi Fresh Production dancehall set with four tracks and four different voices, pairing Alicia Amor’s Handle the Ride, Di Chemist’s Pat Yuh Body, Flyght’s Feel Dem a Steal, and Prezi Fresh’s own Nuh Cheap Talk. The release keeps the lineup lean and focused, which gives the riddim a tight, no-frills feel and lets the vocals do the work. Di Chemist’s Pat Yuh Body was issued in late April 2020, and Flyght was already active around the same period, adding a little extra name recognition to the project. With only one song from each artist, the compilation plays like a compact showcase for Prezi Fresh’s dancehall production style rather than a sprawling VA set.
