Frankie Music’s Goose Bumps Riddim arrives with that slick mid-2013 soca-to-dancehall energy, all punchy hooks and party-ready vocals rather than any one deep-cut mood. The set folds in Chevaughn’s “Wine, ” Christopher Martin’s “If I Die Tonight, ” Demarco’s “Party, ” and a double shot from Konshens on “Inside, ” with the clean and raw versions sitting side by side. That little move says a lot about the label’s thinking: keep the same groove moving, then let the vocals and edits do the talking. T. O. K’s “Bless” and Voicemail’s “Fat Pockets (Fi Di Summa)” push the tracklist toward a lively, summer-carnival finish, and the whole thing came out in July 2013 as an 11-track Frankie Music compilation.
