GOOD STUFF RIDDIM produced by SHQ-1
Good Stuff Overview
In 2019, the Good Stuff Riddim became a true bashment anthem, shaking up dancehall parties across the scene. Its journey began in a small studio, where producer SHQ-1—known for his work with the label Bashment Works and his sharp ear for mixing genres—decided to blend dancehall with trap influences. SHQ-1 had already made a name with several streaming hits, and his ability to create infectious party vibes brought artists and fans together. The riddim’s sound came to life under the expert touch of sound engineer Marcus “Sonic” Lewis, whose crisp mixing made every beat hit hard in the club. As the riddim took shape, SHQ-1 invited a select group of artists to voice on it, each bringing their own energy. Tray Millen led the charge with “Proper Sort Out,” a song that quickly became a staple for selectors. Tray Millen had already caught attention with his earlier single “Turn Up,” and his confident delivery on this track kept crowds moving. Next up was Jade with the bold “Fuck Nice,” adding a fierce edge and attitude that fans loved. Sean brought “Z - Plan Up,” a track that showed off his lyrical skills and added a cool, calculated flow to the mix. Jervice Lyfe rounded out the project with “Contack Sport,” bringing a raw, streetwise flavor. Together, these songs made the Good Stuff Riddim a standout release in a year packed with bashment hits.
