Chronic Law is the anchor on Eagle Sound Productions’ God’s Gift Riddim, and his “Must Nice Again” gives the juggling its sharpest pull right out of the gate. The 2021 dancehall set keeps the focus on straight talk and grind-set energy, with Lolaa Smiles, Richy Whiz, Kash, Quada, JDon Heights, Eazilee, K-Lyrikal, and Palmer and Caution all circling the same motivational lane without sounding like they’re reading from the same page. There’s a clean, forward-driving feel to the instrumental too, and the fact that Eagle Sound tucks their own version at the end tells you they had a clear idea of the pocket they wanted. Still, it’s Chronic Law who leaves the deepest mark here, turning a practical, hustler-minded riddim into something with real bite.
