Huntta Flow Production kept “Gal Town” pointed squarely at the dancefloor, with a tight 2021 soca set that runs just six cuts and leaves no dead weight around the edges. The tracklist leans into catchy, hands-up party talk: Big Raff’s “Do It Bold, ” Candle’s “Do It, ” DJ Tropyx on “Gyall All Over, ” SIL’s “Pon De Thing, ” and Yung Image’s “Slam, ” all riding the same brisk, compact framework before the producer closes things with the instrumental. There’s a nice contrast in the way the voices play off the riddim — some a little cheekier, some more direct — but the hook-heavy push comes through strongest on Candle’s “Do It, ” which gives the project its sharpest immediate lift.
