Friendless Riddim arrived in 2011 from Lockecity Entertainment and Teetimus Music, with Truckback Records also attached to the release credit on digital stores. The project lands in that early-2010s dancehall space where a spare, loop-heavy rhythm had to do the work of carrying the whole package, and this one does it with a sharp, restless edge rather than a glossy crossover polish.

The core lineup is tight: Wayne Marshall on “I Will Never Change, ” Teetimus on “Never Be No Friend, ” Bling Dawg on “Pedal To The Floor, ” and RDX on “Shots. ” Wayne Marshall, long known for his versatile dancehall singjay style, brings the most melodic cut, while RDX push the biggest club charge with their usual punchy, rowdy energy. Bling Dawg, a veteran deejay and producer who has spent years moving between street talk and catchy hooks, sounds at home on the riddim’s impatient bounce. Teetimus also uses his own cut to frame the title idea directly, turning the project’s theme into a statement about loyalty, pressure, and the fallout of fake friendships.

The rhythm itself has a clipped, marching feel with a dark, percussive swing and enough open space for each voice to cut through.
