Forward Riddim, produced by Special Delievery Music in 2018, is a compact four-track reggae set that brings together Gappy Ranks, Etana, Fari Difuture, and Righteous Child. Gappy Ranks’ How Long and Etana’s Africa are the best-known cuts here, while Fari Difuture’s Jungle Out There and Righteous Child’s Hold On round out the lineup with a balanced mix of roots-minded vocals and message songs. Etana’s presence adds extra weight, especially since she has long been one of reggae’s most recognisable female voices.
