For Real Riddim – Urban Delight

For Real Riddim by Urban Delight arrived in 2022 as a compact two-track reggae project, pairing JB Selassie’s Dreams with Otis Irie’s title cut For Real. The set has a warm roots and lovers rock feel, and the title track grew out of a collaboration between the two artists, with Otis Irie eventually cutting his own original version after initially producing the riddim for JB Selassie’s cover idea. That gives the release a simple but distinctive identity: one instrumental bed, two vocal approaches, and a clear back-and-forth between cover inspiration and original songwriting.
