Filthy Riddim lands in that tight, two-song soca format that keeps the focus on groove and attitude, with 4th Dimension Productions setting up a stripped-back cut that’s built for quick fire and plenty of motion. Hypa 4000’s “You Feel You Bad” has the sharper edge of the pair, while Skinny Banton’s “Wuk It Up” leans harder into the party command, and the short tracklist leaves both voices plenty of room over the same 3: 30 instrumental framework. Released on January 6, 2017, as a digital soca project, it came through with just the two tracks and no filler, which suits the way 4th Dimension have handled a string of compact riddims in that period.
