Feelin Riddim – Centa Stayge Sessions

Four tracks, four very different angles on the same Centa Stayge Sessions cut, and that’s what makes Feelin Riddim worth a closer listen. Prophit’s “Go Deh, ” Worl Fuego’s “High, ” the Maxx Revenue and Supa G pairing on “Feelin’, ” and Mr Program’s “It’s A Party” keep the project moving between live energy and a more reflective tribute mood. The release landed in 2021 and was filed as dancehall, though the live treatment gives it a looser, band-room feel than a straight-up digital juggling. Maxx Revenue and Supa G are the most natural match here, riding the groove with the kind of back-and-forth that suggests the riddim was cut with performance in mind. Sequencing matters too: the set opens with two solo live cuts, shifts into the duet, then closes on the tribute, like the producer wanted each track to feel like another step deeper into the same session.
