Extension Riddim sits in that lean 2011 dancehall lane where the groove does most of the talking, and Franchise Music Production keeps the cut stripped back enough for the voices to ride it clean. The set is small but well chosen: Izrael opens with “Nuh Matter What, ” Krisko follows with “Ordinary Girl, ” then Lejah takes the title cut, before Phzykcal closes on “More Girls. ” The sequencing feels deliberate, moving from a more defiant opener into a pair of relationship and identity tunes, then ending on a straight-up girls anthem. Four tracks, four different angles on the same rhythm, which gives the riddim a tidy, focused shape rather than a crowded juggling.
